Fey's Campaign

Reforging the Party

Season Two Episode One

The group finally rejoined over the course of a four or five days at a house in the woods next to the Lestani Kingdom. Their new mission given to them by Sophi was to collect as many powerful religious artifacts as they could to help close The Wellspring.

Mariette and her cat Gareth put them up till they were rested and ready to depart. The night before the group left Mariette showed them a map and marked several locations as possibilities for possessing powerful religious artifacts.

One was suppose to be located out in an old ruined temple of Sehanine towards the western part of Agetion. Another was supposedly nestled somewhere in the ruins of an old civilization that resided somewhere in the Katari Jungle. Mariette informed them that at least two artifacts were to be found in Amania but both are family relics of the royal families there. Another artifact is to be on a sunken island off the western coast of Agetion. The last two artifacts Mariette told them about were away from Agetion, one being in Thelona over on Meracova. The second being the Sorrowmere in the city of Gloomwrought located in The Shadowfell.

Mariette also told the group they might find more information about these artifacts in Auroa where there is much knowledge to be had. The rumors of the location of another artifact could be found within the Lestani Kingdom and finally that Medaira would prove to be an interesting location to visit.

The party decided to go with the sure thing and hit up a known location. However they debated about where to go first. Amania was put forth since it had several artifacts but the fear of retaliation made it the last choice. In the end instead of going the most time efficient route they instead decided to hit the ruins of Sehanine’s temple just next to them then move to Auroa in order to get more information on the various locations.

Gail and Tizali went for a hunt while the others slept and in the morning Mariette provided the group with supplies and magically teleported them halfway to their destination. Gareth wished them a speedy journey to their deaths so that the group would not come back to bother him.

Upon arriving on a hill the party set out and noticed they were being followed by someone and Gail discovered that they were using Ki energy. That night during guard duty a ninja was spotted and a fight ensued. The ninja used illusion magic causing “Kitten” to impale Gail as she woke. The ninjas had explosive devices and a strange eerie low music played around them.

After the battle was over “Kitten” identified the ninjas as belonging to a group called the Black Lotus, a sort of assassin guild cult. They have scattered cells throughout Agetion and are based in Amania but pasted that she knew little. Upon searching them she found their gear to be uniform with minor personal variations.

Tizali discovered that the main ninja was a vampire as she buried the bodies and so she staked him and left him for the sun after removing his head. The party slept through the rest of the night undisturbed and set out for the ruins of Sehanine’s temple in the morning.
